Voice Of Cod are Colin Bennun (OOOD, Unconscious Collective) and Andrew Humphries (Mr. Biscuit, Organic A&R/DJ) and who started making music together after meeting at a party in London. Their tunes can only be described as dance floor shredding psytrance, with a bouncy feel and an uplifting vibe. Each of their releases to date have been praised by punters and DJs alike, including the massive 'We Are Free' on Organic's 'Psytelligence', 'The Art of Funk Shui' on Transient's 'UK Trance' compilation and the powerfully uplifting 'Just a Ride' on Organic's 'New Generations' ‘Just a Ride’ has gone on to become a huge hit, being re-released on several compilations as well as appearing in Antaro’s (VOOV, Spirit Zone) top 10 tunes for 2004.

With a set of singles as strong as this the Cod decided it was time they did an album, and what an album it is!! Released on Organic Records on October 3, it received rave reviews, and it has steadily held the #1 spot in the charts on Chaos Unlimited. They withheld all of their newest material for it, except for ‘Heart of Gold’, which appears on Liquid Records debut Trance compilation alongside Tron, Ecliptic, Z-Man, Scorb & S-Range.

The album features 9 killer dancefloor tracks that will rock any party, day or night. Featuring chuggy groovers alongside full on tracks that knock your kneebones, the whole album has a totally twisted and funky vibe. Voice of Cod are what the trance scene has been waiting for!

OOOD have been releasing their unique brand of psytrance since 1994, with their side-project Unconscious Collective releasing Flying Rhino's biggest-selling 12", 'Fluorostani Transcendance' in 1996. Both acts are now combined into OOOD - an awesome, dancefloor-filling trance monster with Colin at the helm, with Unconscious Collective remaining as a focus for the more eclectic, often chilled-out but always inventive non-dancefloor output of the group. With up to 6 people on stage and live musicianship of all kinds very much in evidence in both OOOD and Unconscious Collective, they have performed all over the world from New York to Japan via South Africa, Israel, Switzerland and of course the UK - Unconscious Collective headed the bill on the Liquid stage at Glade Festival in 2005. Colin and Andrew Humphries (Organic Records) have also recently completed work on the hotly-anticipated debut album from their highly-regarded Voice of Cod project, released on Organic Records on September 26th 2005. OOOD are also due to release their third album on Organic later in the year.

As part of the seminal psytrance acts OOOD and Unconscious Collective (not to mention the acclaimed Voice of Cod), Colin has access to a huge and incredibly varied selection of grade-A dancefloor filling tracks, both released and unreleased. With over 11 years-worth of original material in many styles with many collaborators - including around 20 written in the past two years alone - he has the back-catalogue to play at any time of day or night, Notoriously label-shy until his recent association with Organic Records, a great deal of this cutting-edge music is unreleased and can only be heard in his live or DJ sets, which include both recent and classic tracks from other artists who major in deeply funky, compulsively psychedelic music. Whether it's a night-time or a warm-up slot, chillout or main room, Colin has the tracks and is not afraid to use them!

Andrew Humphries
Andrew began his musical journey in Australia, playing the drums in several indie/rock bands and writing for dance music magazine 3DWorld, plus spinning the tunes at various clubs and outdoor parties. In 1999 he moved to the UK and has since DJed across the country at nights including Return to the Source, Liquid Connective, Antiworld, Chichime, Catch23, Twisted, Karma plus many more underground events. He has also played in Portugal, USA, Greece, Germany, Holland, Spain, Switzerland and gigs back in Oz.

Andrew is 1/2 of Voice Of Cod with Colin OOOD and also writes music as a solo artist under the names MrBiscuit and Zuloop. His tune 'Slim Shady' was one of the hits off Psytelligence, with psyreviews.com and isratrance rating it highly and uk djs such as Jamie Robinson(Ajuca) and Metaphase(Antiworld/Psygate) playing it.

He was fully occupied with the Voice of Cod album for over a year but with that complete he is writing with his new project, Zuloop, plus working with a couple of other London based noise makers.
